Home › Trim & Molding
Crown molding, baseboards, casing, chair rail, board-and-batten and picture frame panelling — installed, caulked and finished, not just tacked up.
Plenty of carpenters will hang trim and leave the filling, caulking and painting to someone else. We do the whole thing, which means the miters, the caulk lines and the paint are all one person's responsibility.
Panelling and board-and-batten under a papered wall is the detail that makes a dining room look designed rather than decorated. It is also the cheapest way to give a builder-grade room some architecture.
Neither are plenty of new ones. Miters get cut to the angle the wall actually is, not the angle it should be, and the gap gets closed with caulk and filler rather than hidden behind a bead of silicone.
